Team Jacob

April 3, 2010 | Filed under Media

If you’re my friend on Facebook, you’ll know that I’ve recently done a complete one eighty and gone against every thing I once held sacred: a complete disdain for anything sparkly vampire related.

Then I read all four books. I read all four books within two days. I read all four books in two days while working ten hour days. I might have neglected to sleep, eat, and function like a human being.

While I’m not crazily obsessed, it would probably be safe to say that I’m enough of a fan to contemplate holding a sparkle party with a girl friend, where we plaster ourselves with glitter and watch the movie.

I’m Team Jacob. What are you?

  2. What am I? I’m disappointed. *glares from afar*

(Jokes, really. I’ve never read the book or seen the movies. Can’t judge.)

  3. Only read the first three books (don’t care to read the fourth as it pained me to read the first three) but I’m Team Edward. He and Bella are perfect for each other.

Interpret that as you like. I should probably add, though, that I think Bella is a worthless character :P

  5. Team Jacob for the movies. I’m torn with the books. Team Edward worked out best in the end. But the whole time in Eclipse, I was like just pick Jacob and be done with this!

  6. I too read all four books. Ate them up like candy, but I think that’s because mostly I was waiting for it to get GOOD and it never really DID!

I’m team Jacob too. I am also Team Guy-Who-Almost-Hits-Bella-With-A-Truck. Now there’s a man I wish had succeeded. But yeah, I’m team Jacob but I’m NOT a twi-hard, so it’s nice to see someone else the same way.

As a writer, though? LAMEST WAY TO RESOLVE A LOVE TRIANGLE… EVAR.

  11. Oh it makes me so happy that you have an opinion on this now :) :) :) I have been a Team Edward fan for the most part in the past, but the movies have started to change me . . . it’s hard to be opposed to someone so beautiful :P

  14. I really don’t get the fascination with these books :O I tried to read the first one, but gave up after 50 pages because it made me both homicidal and suicidal.

  15. People will shit bricks once they see this.

    I’m Team Edward, btw.

  16. Whatever. They are both hot. My choice will be based on try-outs ;)

  17. I’m not sure I’m either, though of the two I prefer Edward because even though he was overbearing Jacob just got too cocky for my liking. With the revelation in Breaking Dawn it’s difficult to say what should have happened.

  18. I’m Team Jacob. I have no interest in the “saga,” just an interest in Taylor Lautner. :P

  19. I’m team disgusted :P

OK, so I went to watch New Moon with my best friend and we made snide remarks throughout the whole movie… and we did take note of the hunk that plays Jacob (now I feel like a cradle-robber). But reading the BOOKS? UGH! I read the summaries on LJ and even those made me cry (of frustration over their lenght).

Next person to call these the “new Harry Potter” gets stabbed D:

  22. I’m Team People Shouldn’t Read Twilight.

(But okay, I’ve read 3/4 of them, and from what little I remember, Jacob was far less creepy.)

  24. I, for one moment thought you were talking about Lost and I thought, yeah, why not? Team Jacob or Team Smoke Monster???

Sadly, you were talking about THAT.
