October 4 2009: Enjoyment and Conviviality

Some basic mathematical calculations today I think.

I started off last night with two bottles of Yellowglen Jewel Pink champagne and four bottles of Passion Pop (I’m a cheap drinker!). This morning, there remains three bottles of Passion Pop left in my fridge. Therefore two bottles of Yellowglen and four bottles of Passion Pop minus 3 bottles remaining equals three bottles of wine/champagne drunk. Combined with the glasses of wine snagged from Nadine‘s bottles, I may possibly have imbibed more than is good for me, especially considering the Twitter war of words that ensued.

I can only say that I speak only truths, and Nadine only lies. And that, surprisingly, I woke up without a hangover and feel perfectly fine today, if a little sleep-deprived. The companionship of friends in the comfort of one’s own home without the disapproval of one’s parents marring one’s enjoyment and conviviality is really a boost for one’s spirits.

  2. I saw Nadine’s first tweet about this through my Twitter client. I was unaware of what was actually unfolding, heh.

  3. Did you drink water? After too many nights of throwing up and passing out I discovered that no matter how hammered you are, if you down a pint of water before bed, you won’t get a hangover. :)
