So cool! Congrats on your new job! ^_^ It seems consultancy really does suit you. I'm pretty sure you might be able to do something with it in the future. Good luck! d-(^_^)

Judging from what you wrote, I think consultancy would suit you. Why not check up on the bigger consultant companies, such as McKinsey? If you can land yourself an internship, you can almost land yourself a job.

YAY NEW JOB! I think it's awesome that you're so good at organizing and streamlining processes - it's a really great skillset. I do think you could probably turn it into a consulting thingy but I have no idea how.

Sounds like you could consider progressing into 'change management' later in your career. We recently had someone in to do exactly that for us, she was freelance and it's all about short to mid term projects sorting out various organisations. For us it was 3 days a week for 18 months (an unusually long project for her) as Interim Chief Exec. It was great cos she could come in and sort out all the crap, get the organisation on the right tracks for someone else to come in and build on those foundations, nurturing it over the long term. Sometimes you just need that short sharp shock to sort everything out.

I think by her stage in the career she found all her work through connections in the sector and recommendations. Not sure how she started out in it but I think what you're doing could be counted as relevant experience.

I was going to dig out some links for you re your last post but my laptop's broken at the moment... Will try to do when I can as I've been going through a similar 'I have no career direction' phase.
