In case my life isn’t awesome enough right now, the radiator in my car has sprung a leak. It happened on the way to work this morning (or at least, that’s when I became aware of it). I got Dylan to get to my workplace and look at my car while I was working and fix it up temporarily for me to get to his house after work, and again to get home, but that’s pretty much all the travelling I can tease out of the car. It’s not moving until I can get the leak patched (Dylan is awesome and I love him for being handy enough to know basic car fix-its), or if the leak’s too big, to get it entirely fixed up at the mechanics (how I’m going to get the car there is the question).
Getting to work is going to be a bitch, especially as I rely quite heavily on my car as the public transport in my area is poor at the best of times. Without my car, I am literally helpless – I can’t get anywhere, do anything, go to work, anything. I am so entirely reliant on it that it’s pathetic. Mid-week is the earliest it can be fixed, and just the interim of a couple of days will make it hell trying to coordinate travel from point A to point B.
Fuck, fuck, fuckety fuck fuck.

That totally sucks! On the postive side: all this shit is clearly just setting you up to reap some huge reward, if that is any consolation.

That is a really shit situation! I hope you can get it fixed soon with as little hassle as possible. I seem to remember a previous entry involving mechanics and a little cleavage..Perhaps that could work again ;)
I think there’s something in the water down your end of town…A friend who lives close-ish to you had her radiator explode last week causing her to rear-end someone.

That really sucks! I hope you can get it fixed sooner than that. It’s difficult having to rely on your own transport because public transport is horrible. I can’t rely on PT either, I would have to go to 4-5 towns by bus to get to where need to be..

Would you be able to rent a car in the meantime? I know here a person has to be 25 but maybe your parents could rent it for you?

if it makes you feel any better at all, I had a dream last night that I brought you (on multiple occasions) shrimp cocktail and other food made by Ina Garten to your place of work for you to eat.
please don’t ask me how this dream came to be. it is best to not dive too deeply into the insanity that is my mind.

Ouch. Bad things definitely seem to like to happen all together sometimes. I hope things turn up for you soon.

Ooo, that’s not good, hopefully it’ll get fixed soon.

Oh no! Well at least Dylan was able to help you out with it. I’d just feel so helpless if that were to happen to me =/ hopefully you can get it fixed soon. I know what you mean about feeling so stranded when you can’t drive. It’s so frustrating!

Eek! Hopefully it’s not a terrible leak, and Dylan can fix it up for you. Or at least enough so that your car is useful until you can get it properly looked at by a mechanic. :[

I pictured you as a train commuter for some reason. I wonder why that is…
Sorry to hear about the massive inconvenience :/
Reply: I am actually, but I drive ten minutes to get to the train station (or, my option now is to go on the bus to the train station for half an hour…) to get into the city. I have to drive to reach public transport!
