The Past Few Days
July 20, 2009 | Filed under Family & Friends
Melbourne was overrun with Sydneysiders these past few days.
I spent Thursday night dining out with Michael (my brother from another mother) and Kieran – we had some amazing Italian on Lygon Street, polishing off two bottles of wine, and finished it up with a range of delicious desserts from Brunetti‘s. I didn’t get home until 1am, which made it hard to wake up the next morning for: brunch at Cafe Andiamo, a mainstay of Melbourne’s famous Degraves Street alley, with Carmen and Michael. We wandered over to the National Gallery of Victoria where we saw A COSTUME THAT COLIN FIRTH WORE IN THE BBC VERSION PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. THAT HE WORE! THAT HE TOUCHED!

I unfortunately had to leave them in the early afternoon as I had to work later that day, but managed to engineer a date-like situation for Carmen and Kieran before I left. Whether or not they actually got it on, or will get it on, or whether or not they’ll make babies and name me as godmother…I guess we’ll see. The babies would look awesome though – Carmen’s fully hot, and Kieran’s a cute halfie. I’d shag them both.
As for the rest of the weekend: I worked a full day on Saturday, dressed up in drag on Saturday night with Alex and a few others and had a girls night in with Priscilla (see photo on right – no I don’t normally look like that, and yes, that “beauty spot” is fake), worked half of Sunday, and spent the other half of Sunday napping in Dylan’s bed (hey, I’m exhausted, I’ve been working seven days a week while also maintaining an active social life and family commitments) while he alternatively cuddled with me and studied.
And hence, the neglect of this blog. I’d apologise, but when it comes down to a choice between catching up on sleep, catching up with friends, earning money, having sexy time, or blogging, I know which I choose.

As Kieran can attest, I did end up, you know, tackling him to the floor. No babies, though you would certainly have been the godmother if they’d come into existence.
Sounds like you had a fun week ;)
p.s thank you again, I really had a fantastic time with you and Michael :)

I better be first on your shag-tastic list. The female one. I’d understand if dudes come before me. But of the chicks? I get dibs. Kthx.

Dressing up in drag always brings out the freaks. I’d certainly skip a weekend blogging to do just that.
