June 22 2009: Exercise Is Shit Work

Okay, sometimes I don’t know why I even bother to make any semblance of effort in maintaining a healthy weight. It seems that when I try to exercise, something inevitably goes horribly horribly wrong. I’ve been burnt to a crisp. I’ve set out on long power walks, only for it to start pouring down with rain half an hour from home.
And tonight, I went for an epic two hour long power walk in the cold and dark of winter after a eight hour work day and two hour round trip commute, and ended up stepping in dog shit. Now it wasn’t as though I was power walking on grass or parklands – I was walking on concreted pavement the whole time. So I have to ask: why the fuck weren’t people picking up their dog’s shit? We have laws about picking up dog shit and disposing of it properly, and these laws are designed for the greater good of society. You wouldn’t take a dump on the street, so why is it okay to leave your pet’s shit there?
Now I’m just pissed off because I had to scrape off dog shit from my shoe, and, it might be all psychological, but I imagine myself smelling like dog shit even though I’ve taken a shower. Motherfucker.

Ouch, that sucks majorly. It’s so annoying when owners don’t pick up after their pets. I stepped in dog poop once, and now I’m extra careful to look where I’m stepping. :P

Eww! That is disgusting. That is one the many reasons why I don’t want a dog, because you have to pick up their poop.
I was walking home from college once and I stood in the most huge pile of dog turd. The stench practically burned my nostrils. That was in the middle of a pavement just like what happened to you. >_<

Ick… I hate it when people will watch their dog do their business RIGHT on my front yard, just a few inches away from the sidewalk, but then they keep on walking. I mean, how difficult is to just carry a few bags around with you? Irresponsible owners, tsk.
