Drought Stimulus Package

April 4, 2009 | Filed under Body, Relationships/Men

Backstory: one particular side-effect that I’ve noticed in the past week of having the Implanon is a distinct inability to properly self-lubricate. Prior to having the Implanon, I’d be able to self-lubricate without a problem – even to the point of being too able to self-lubricate for hours upon hours of sexual activity, where I’d be as slippery as a waterslide.

Now however, I’m dry as a whistle, and having to rely on artificial lubricant to get things started before my body begins to respond with a trickle of sexual readiness. A small price to pay however, for not having to worry about pregnancy.

Anyway. A few days ago, I was watching the news with Mr. Monogamy when a news item came on about economic stimulus packages for drought-ridden farm properties in outback Australia. I turned to him, and said: “Baby, will you stimulate my drought with your package?”

…I still think it’s the best line I’ve ever come up with. Queen of Witty Repartee, that’s me.
