You may want to consider other options than laser eye surgery as you are at the extreme end of what LASIK is capable of correcting. A “phakic IOL” may be a better option for you.

Regardless of the type of surgery you have, the most important decision anyone who is considering eye surgery must make is what surgeon to choose.

I’ve actually walked in on my parents after they’ve had sex. My father was all flustered picking his shorts up from the floor and yelling at me to knock. So embarrassing and pretty traumatic when you’re like twelve years old. Yuck!

I want laser surgery as well, though I’m terrified of getting it. My vision keeps getting worse every year, though. I’m currently at a -4.75 in one and -5.25 in the other, but it hasn’t stabilized yet. My vision gets worse with each annual visit, especially in my left eye (which has astigmatism). It’ll be a few more years until I’m able to get it. Hopefully by the time I’m thirty. Geez.

The idea of laser surgery is very frightening to me. I plan on waiting until it’s been established for several more years before I think about getting it done.

My vision has been stable for the last four years I’m 2.75 in my R eye and 3.50 in my left. After my second year at stabilization my doctor wanted me to get my eyes done and I really do want to but I don’t know how I feel about getting them corrected and having to take out a 5000 loan for it… The doctor who does the surgery is really good though, he’s the one that does the lasik for the LA Lakers and other NBA players and a few Hollywood stars, so I might do it…

And I thought my eyesight was bad at -7 and -6.50 (left and right). Last year was the first year that they hadn’t changed since I first got glasses 13 years ago. I’m due for a checkup soon and I’m hoping that they haven’t changed because I would about kill for laser surgery right now. 11 years of wearing contacts will do that to a person.

My eyes were fairly stable, until this past year where they suddenly jumped up one level. I don’t want to be blind :[

Hopefully one day laser eye surgery will be so good it won’t require reading glasses afterwards. When that happens, I’ll be on it like white on rice. Or chinese girls named Amanda on penis.

omg I dunno how you see at all. My brother is somewhere in that range too. But remember to make sure with your optometrist that you’re getting the right procedure done at the right time. My aunt got her eyes done a few years ago and at that time laser eye surgery wasn’t as good as it is now so she gets the occasional dry eye.

I was always afraid that my vision who get worse, but it stabilized around age 18.

I never thought I’d consider it, but laser eye surgery is definitely sounding better and better to me these days. I don’t mind wear glasses, but my eye sight is getting worse and worse, so I think I may have to permanently wear them soon. (At the moment, I only technically need them for distance.) I can’t see myself wearing glasses 24/7, and I contacts scare the bejesus out of me! Haha.

I’ve had laser hair removal done before. It sorta worked. I think I needed a few more sessions, and I could always go back and get it finished, I’m just cheap. XD Maybe someday I’ll finish. If you go through with that, unless you have a very high pain threshold, I definitely recommend getting this special cream stuff that numbs your body. (Or maybe I’m a wimp, but after awhile, the laser hurts.)

My eyesight is between -2 and -3, but I’m tired of wearing glasses. I think I’ll have laser eye surgery when I’m old enough.

I’d also love to do hair removal, but I don’t know if that will ever actually happen.
