UK: An Apology

January 21, 2009 | Filed under Australia, Online, Travel

I really have to apologise to anyone coming here from the panelist page of the 2009 Bloggies: I realise that I’m in contention for the Best Australian/New Zealand Blog, and I also realise that for the past month, there’s not been much on this blog that actually relates to Australiana. This will change in February – it’s just that I’m currently overseas and getting excited about the United Kingdom and random French guys on the Metro in Paris (because, phwoar, why did no one tell me to come to Paris earlier?).

Until regular programming returns in February when I get home from my holiday, do read through previous entries on this blog to get a general gist of what I tend to write about – there is generally a strong Australian theme running through my entries. Judge this blog by those entries, and decide through them whether I’m good enough to be a final nominee.

And if it helps, I offer free Down Under experiences to anyone who votes for me to be a finalist. You’ll just have to fly me out to your respective countries so that I can give you this experience Down Under!

  3. I think French boys are a perfectly good reason to not blog about Australia.

  4. French boys are always an excuse to not write about Australia (unless the Australian boys are better looking?!)
