Some Disjointedness

Last night was great fun. Didn’t take photos, tendency to forget camera in handbag possession when glass of wine in hand. Alex may have some photos hidden away somewhere? Sailor Mars costume generally approved of by all, though very obviously homemade with an arse-baring gap in the skirt. Throat a little sore today from belting out Whitney and Mariah at karaoke.
Today largely spent curled up in bed and chugging litres of water to rehydrate after alcoholic indulgence. Feeling much better. Head not pounding. Regency romance novel by my side. Laptop in front of me. Resting up before long day of babysitting tomorrow. Would have been an idyllic day if not for the retching in the morning.
Good news! My change of name certificate came through yesterday, taking only a week rather than their estimated twenty days. I can apply for my passport on Tuesday, and receive it by the first week of December. Won’t have to pay priority processing fee – saving a hundred or so. Bargains, w00t.
I’ve come up with an elaborate plan to hoax my parents into letting me go to England. Basically, I’m getting interviewed by Oxford for a scholarship, and have to fly to England. This hoax may or may not include fake phone interviews, fake letters, fake emails…anything needed to support my “scholarship” application.
Speaking of applications, need to properly start applying for further study instead of just looking at brochures. Deadline end of next week. Not long to go. Get that completed and can then properly chillax.
Mother bought cherries. Will go pig out. Ciao.

I’m glad you had fun! And it sounds like you’re actually getting rest today (party nights for me are usually followed by having to work at 8 in the morning) so that’s great.
That would be one expensive scholarship interview… you think they’d believe it??

No photos from me :( But, hoping some will appear on facebook very soon ^_^
I love your elaborate plan. If you succeed, I shall give you a medal :P

Ooh cool. I don’t think I could pull off something like that. Haha!
I actually did apply for a scholarship for Cambridge. So if I get it, perhaps I could see you in England.
That is, if I get the scholarship. My chances are slim, but a girl can dream and I have been dreaming.

You sound like BJ.
Hah, it does sound like you enjoyed yourself, but I hope the price that fun came with goes away soon.

Why the need for an elaborate plan? I think my parents would encourage me to go, they probably can’t wait to see the back of me, lol.
