I think more people Twitter about useful information now-a-days rather then what EXACTLY they are doing at the moment…well except for me that is…lol.

I signed up for Twitter ages ago without knowing what it was for. I decided to use it about half a year later because everyone I know was in there. I did enjoy it, mainly because it’s one way to keep in touch with my online and offline buddies. They “show” what they are outside their blog (like a certain political blogger I know — a very very very respected and famous one in our country — who has quite a very naughty side), and sometimes I find that their interests and mine are similar. It’s about connection, I guess, but true enough that some people really just don’t get the point.

Recently I’m using Plurk (because, again, everyone does. And they actually forced me to, geez). I find it more enjoyable, and more silly, and more time-wasting. It’s fun if you’re into that kind of thing.

Haha, I don’t have a twitter either for the same reason.
Some of them seem so pointless, as they are replying to the comment of person x, who we have no idea is and what the reply is relevant too. I mean reading something like, “haha but bobby said so!” is just a waste of time.

Don’t have a twitter account but all the hubbub makes me want to sign up to see what all the fuss is about. Besides, I don’t need twitter to tell people that I’m bleeding from the vagina. I personally share the news.

I think Twitter and Plurk are good for keeping in touch with friends on the net (if you’re too busy to keep chatting on MSN). You ask for an opinion and you get lots instantly. It’s something to promote websites with as well.

Twitter is what you make of it. If you just want to post boring things, then you’ll be boring. If you want to try and be interesting, then you’ll be interesting.

I vow NEVER to sign up for Twitter. I’m too boring for that!

Almost as bad are the people who post “___ is taking a shower” or “___ is bored” on Facebook, but at least I care about some of their lives? The only people I’ve seen use Twitter are random people I’ve “met” online, and I have no desire to read about their lunch or sleeping habits. :|
