April 6 2008: Follow Up

As I’ve done nothing of particular interest today (what would you call writing essays? Stimulating?), I thought the best thing to do, is to update past entries. I rarely follow up on things I blog about, so this post is much overdue for those who follow every little thing about me religiously. Some might call them stalkers, but I merely call them fans, until I see them on the branch outside my bedroom window, at which point I call the police.

  1. I will be skydiving when I’m in Sydney. I ended up winning the auction with a bid of $190AUD, which automatically means that I win at life, because that’s a saving of almost 40% on something that you traditionally wouldn’t be able to save on. However, I won’t be white-water rafting due to time constraints.
  2. My dad has another surgery scheduled for the 22nd of this month, to remove the tube they stuck up there last time. This does mean that I’ll be working my butt off again for a couple of days after that, but…well, what can you do?
  3. I lost the translation of the Chinese article that I was doing when I lost my USB stick. I put hours and hours of work into that…now I have to do it again before next week. Bollocks.
  4. I haven’t spoken recently to the guy I kinda liked, who might have been gay. He did ask for my email address before class broke up for the Easter break, but he hasn’t contacted me as of yet. Woe.
  5. I’m still contemplating my costume for the party, though my parents think that I should go as Mary-Jane. I’m increasingly attracted to the idea of dressing up as Harry Potter though.
  6. I have been sadly neglecting the writing of Part Three of “My Trip To New Zealand, Exclamation Mark, Exclamation Mark, One, One, Tilde”. I’ve written about half of it, but a lack of a free hour to sit down and type out every little detail hasn’t helped. Soon though, I promise!
  7. I was ahead in my assignments and work requirements for university. I am now behind, courtesy of the lost USB stick. Woe. On the plus side, my hot tutor is still hot.

And there you have it! Hopefully the needs of the stalkers fans are now sated. Now excuse me while I go and reply to the eighty people who have now contacted me on the dating site.

  3. I want to go skydiving too but I don’t think I know anybody who would have the guts to do it with me… but knowing me, I’d back out last minute. =S
