April 30 2008: Jingwen’s Competition #3 Winner
The winner of Jingwen’s third competition is Emsz!
As detailed in the original competition post, Emsz will receive a prize pack consisting of “Hollywood Fashion Tape” products, all provided courtesy of a competition I myself won on Missy Confidential.
I must admit that something she told me outside of this competition affected my decision as well. Anyone who can tell me that she gave a very Amanda-esque gift to her mother is bound to be in my good books! Sure, I did mistake her meaning at first and think that she bought her mother a vibrator (!)…but the real gift is so much better! A book of vouchers that entitles her mother to tell Emsz to clean out the shed, clean the house, wash the dishes, do the laundry? Very much full of win!
Congratulations Emsz! Your prize is now in the post - and I’m sure your breasts will thank you for it! For all other entrants - better luck next time! For those who didn’t enter, but who read this blog - the next competition (for a brand new movie DVD!) will be posted at the end of May, so stay tuned!

April 29 2008: Fedora

Quite possibly the world’s coolest hat, and not just because it has the luck to be worn by me ($9.95AUD at Sportsgirl, Australian’s equivalent of TopShop!).

Fedoras were immortalised in the 1942 film Casablanca, starring none other than Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. I don’t consider myself a romantic, but that film? It makes me cry every time.
