So, perhaps I wasn’t entirely truthful in yesterday’s post.
Yes, there is a guy. Yes, I like him for his personality. Yes, I told my mother there was a guy I liked for his personality. However, the problem I alluded to isn’t actually present in the previous three sentences. Rather, you can find it in the comments, particularly those from Xuan, Mike and Chanel, all of which basically said: “IS HE GAY?!”
Xuan has a better idea of who this guy is, given the fact that I tend to message him whenever I’m in class, with updates of all the guys who walk in. “Fob, fob, fob, nerdy azn, nerdy azn, nerdy azn, bogan, OOOH HOT GUY” etc etc. In any case, the male in question fell under the “hot guy” category, though, well, his sexuality is in question. Very much in question, with a strong leaning towards “likes receiving anal sex”. Which obviously, to state the least, is a problem.
I have Facebook-stalked him (haven’t added him because…I am teh chickenshit), hoping to have everything clarified via the “Interested In” field on his profile…only to have things further confused. He hasn’t stated which sex he’s interested in, nor is his marital status stated, nor is there any incriminating evidence on his profile that might have made things clearer.
It remains a mystery. I’ll have to keep you updated.

That makes things about a million times more complicated. Men who are unsure about their sexuality are usually trying to deny that they’re gay.

Pose as a guy on facebook and friend him or however facebook works, and find out through that if he is gay or not. If he isn’t, make your move.

I mean why do you think he is? After um, also having stalking experience – they usuallly aren’t gay. Did I ever mention hot Chris? No I didn’t. Well I thought he was gay, my friends thought he was gay, his friends who have known him since he was five thought he was gay. But no, straight :( Disgustingly straight!

Awww… I knew it! This always happens, Amanda – all the good ones are broken, taken, or batting for the wrong team.
I’d like to stay optimistic and hope he’s in tune with his feminine side, but the reality of the situation is that if you can’t tell whether he’s gay or not right away, you’re *probably* going to have issues with his lack of masculine presence if/when you guys get into a relationship.
Still – it makes for interesting developments. Keep us posted. :D
