January 13 2008: An Eerie Similarity

A thread at Snark led me to some of the funniest Pokemon-related YouTube videos I’ve seen in a long while. One in particular made me laugh uncontrollably.

Brock: Who’s talking?
Ash: How come you don’t have any eyes?
Brock: How come you don’t have any eyes, huh?

Brock: Stop it, this is an official match!
Brock’s sister: But brother, you have to save money for all our eye operations!
Ash: Huh? I give in, fixing all of your eyes is more important to me than winning a badge!

It reminded me of my own brother, whose has the typical slanty Chinese slit-eyes that makes him look like he’s blind.

It’s kind of eerie really.

LOL. I’m sorry Jackie, but LOL. I always used to wonder how Brock could see when his eyes were like that when I was younger, and why Brock had such a fetish for women in uniform.

  7. Holy shit, your family better get royalties.

LOL @ Pokemon Abridged; you just saved me from doing absolutely nothing tonight–now I’m giggling excessively in the dark (wtf).

This must be an epic out-of-lurkage comment. Seriously.

  10. Ha ha, I love Pokemon Abridged! I’m up to episode 11, and I just giggle through the whole thing. If my brother was still at home, he would probably come down the hall and find out what I was up to, because I’m sure it sounds bizarre. :P

  15. Hahaha

Is he not squinting at all? Anyway, I think small eyes are adorable! :P

Reply: Well, you could probably blame the camera’s flash for some of it, but largely speaking, his eyes are generally that small. :P

  16. That’s … well, that’s LOLzy, really. Somehow I’m thinking you should expect that same expression from your brother when/if he starts down the post-drinking hangover path in future.

Dare you to make him audition if, within the next ten years, they decide to completely screw over the fandom and make a human-based tele-movie out of it.
