October 31 2007: Revealing My Arms
It seems as though blotchy, bruised, and swollen arms can be connotative of numerous body-marking activities, if the responses to my last post are any indication. The guesses could have all been correct, yet only one could be the true winner. But before I reveal what it is, a quick summary of what it is not:
Carpet burn resulting from rough sex involving bondage, as suggested by Tracey, Kimmie, Xuan, Chantelle and Juice. A lovely guess, and under other circumstances, would have an 80% chance of being the answer. However, like I mentioned in my second last entry, it’s been awhile since I’ve been penetrated by anything other than an inanimate, yet vibrating, object. Unfortunately. Very unfortunately.
With this in mind, too much masturbation, as suggested by Aisling is a distinct possibility. However…unless I was a squirter and squirted all over my arms whilst in the midst of doing my own business to myself, how would I have a rash up on my forearms? If anything, it would be on my fingers, palms, and inner thighs, and according to the photo, they’re clear (though, there isn’t visual evidence that my inner thighs are clear…)!

October 30 2007: Right Forearm
My right forearm as of ten minutes ago.
Ten points to whoever can guess what caused it. (No, I’m not normally red-flecked, bruised, and swollen like that!)

October 29 2007: QOTW: It’s Been A Long Time
Today, I spent two hours doing something I haven’t done for a very long time - and as a result of this activity, my joints are aching as they have never ached before.
Get your mind out of the gutter you dirty person! I’m not referring to sexual activity (though really, it’s been awhile…), but rather, the much more innocent act of swimming. It’s been at least two years since I was last at the pool for the express purpose of doing some laps. While I do own a few pairs of bathers, they’re largely for the days when I prance around the beach, checking out semi-naked surfers.
I swam for approximately two hours - doing about a hundred laps of a twenty-five metre pool. That’s two and a half kilometres - you have to admit it’s pretty impressive for someone who hasn’t swum for two years. That’s burning approximately 3000 kilojoules per session, firming flesh at the rate of .3218% an hour (random made-up numbers, work with it), and dropping dress sizes at the rate of one a year. (Note: not losing weight {I like what I weigh!}, just firming flesh and compacting flab into toned muscle.)
Hopefully this will become a weekly event - I’ve purchased a fifty-pass card (coming in at $2.70 per visit, rather than the $3.70 for a single visit), so the very fact I’ve already shelled out the money in advance is likely to help. I’m not called Miss Stingy Arsechops for nothing, I like to get my money’s worth!
And since it’s been such an abominably long time since the last Question of the Week due to my absence from the interwebs…
Question of the Week: Is there something you haven’t done for a long time which you really should start doing again?
ETA: Just upgraded to WordPress 2.3.1 (from 2.2.something) so if you see any bugs, let me know.
