Facebook

What’s the point of waking up at 8am for a 10am tutorial when the tutor still hasn’t shown up by 10.30? I just left…what a total waste of time, especially considering my next class isn’t until 2pm so I’m stuck hanging around. Bitch.

In other news, I’ve just done what I said I’d never do – join Facebook. I’m a hypocrite and I know it!

  1. The things one does when one is bored.

I hate Facebook almost as much as I hate MySpace… but thanks for adding me anyway.

  2. I need to quite Facebook, honestly. I’ve quite a few friend requests from people I don’t even know. Hypocrites unite!

  3. Thanks for the add! I’ve nearly forgotten I have an account there.

  4. I was taking a standardized test last semester, and the proctor was almost an hour late. When he finally turned up, he realized he’d forgotten to bring half the necessary paperwork. And then the air conditioner died. ‘Twas a bad scene.

P.S. Added you on Facebook. :P

  5. Facebook is an ok temptation to fall to. Where else could you find a group called ‘you cannot bring sexy back without a receipt’?

    I’m adding you.

  7. I shall add you! My best friend made me get a Facebook and now I have no idea what to do with it…

  8. Facebook does not let me sign up for the sheer fact that I am not quite of age.

I recall that you also said you wouldn’t join a forum again but now look what you’re doing. Corrupting a whole forum with your anal-talk!

  9. I remember a lesson like that, and the teacher didn’t turn up at all. We waited an hour until someone came to tell us. Fun.

Argh Facebook. My friend’s given them my email and now they spam me with info I don’t want. Said friend has done the same with other sites.

  15. Back in sixth form we used to have a 10 minute rule where if the teacher didn’t turn up by then, the lesson was considered as cancelled and everyone left.

Yay facebook. Addicted yet? It’s one of the sites I always keep open in a tab… I can’t even begin to imagine how people organise house parties or birthday events for many friends without it – far cheaper, quicker and easier then texting/msn-ing everyone or just hoping you bump into them at the right time. Especially for those of us with birthdays in the middle of the summer holidays.

(Forgive me for not adding you, but I’m keeping mine RL-only for now at least.)
