I’ve already voted for Belinda :P. Good luck with that poetry though. Anyway – we do exactly the same! But we have the addition of the music channel instead and we have to “turn our heads away”. It’s so frustrating. I can only get the more recent songs or classics.

Haha, unlike you, I’m musically challenged. I can hardly remember the lyrics of my favourite song, let alone recognize it by it’s beginning tunes.

I think I first danced to the macarena in kindergarten. My current Literature teacher re-introduced it to us (we dance in his class, so we’ll stay awake), and I suddenly realized how odd the lyrics were. I never paid attention to them in kindergarten. :D

I used to play that game with my roommate freshman year! Unlike you, I have over 5,000 songs. I’m still pretty good at it though, answering the question within 3 to 10 seconds. Some songs are just that memorable. They should totally turn this idea into a game show. I’ll be sure to check out the contest!
