March 8 2007: Captain Barbossa

I sat next to Geoffrey Rush on the train today. While I was a whirl of emotions inside, outwardly I maintaned an aura of total nonchalence…because I’m cool in the presence of celebrity. Oh yes.

Pssst…this is really just a short entry to test the upgraded LJ cross-poster plugin. I had to upgrade to 2.1.2 after I got an email from E-Starr.

  4. I suppose it’s shameful that I didn’t even know the person to whom you’re referring is.

  6. Sorry, who’s Geoffry Rush?

  7. Relation between the title of the entry and Geoffrey Rush: they’re the same person. But, if you’ve never seen Pirates of the Caribbean (WTF?), you wouldn’t know who Captain Barbossa is.

And with that said… WOW! O:

  8. Did you get the LJ cross-poster plugin to work?!
I can’t get it to work damnit! :(

Reply: Hey Malin, it’s working for me. Just go to the official webpage of the plugin, and look at the source code file…I just used that one, and it works fine. :)

Reply: Definite! He lives in the same suburb as me, I see him around the local shopping strip all the time. :)

  12. That’s awesome. A celebrity on public transport. The closest thing I came to sitting next to a celebrity on a train was when I was living in London and I sat next to Tim Mack. :-P
