February 19 2007: Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup

Filed under Life

Tonight’s spicy chicken noodle soup was a failure.

Noodles = okay
Soup = okay
Spicyness = okay
Chicken = failure

Next time, remind me to boil the chicken first, not fry it. Oh, and to slice it up into smaller chunks first as well. I fail at meat.

  1. I’ve never tried fried chicken before. I suppose that’s, um, a different way of doing it…

  3. Lemon herb chicken stir fry. You need lemon extract, herbs, garlic powder, chicken. Cut the chicken into slightly larger than bite size pieces. In a bowl, mix two pinches of herbs, a few tablespoons of garlic powder, and a teaspoon of lemon extract. It should be thick and kind of powdery. Throw the chicken into this and mix it all up. Put the chicken into a frying pan with some vegetable oil. On top of it, throw in diced bell peppers and onions. Add tomatoes about 7 minutes into cooking it all up. Put on top of noodles. It is delicious.

    PS. When making up this recipe, I just guessed at teaspoons and tablespoon amounts. Don’t worry about being exact, just do what looks right. I seriously just like made it up on the spot.

  6. “a few tablespoons of garlic powder” ?!

    Are you mad?!

    Tablespoons are huge, and garlic powder is… well… GARLIC.

    Well, do what you want ;)

  7. How about instant soup; especially invented for those who can’t / won’t / don’t have time to cook ;)
