Crutches and a Neck Brace
February 9, 2007 | Filed under Life, Relationships/Men
Whilst at work today, I looked through the shop window and saw two high schoolers walking past. The girl was on crutches. The guy had a neck brace. God, I think. That’s a bit of a coincidence. And immediately, random scenarios start running around my head.
Perhaps they were tonguing too enthusiastically on top of a Ferris Wheel, and she fell off, breaking her leg in the process while he suddenly strained his neck muscles as he turned to watch her fall?
Perhaps they were swimming out in the ocean and she got her foot bitten off by a shark, while he got his head stuck between two planks on the boardwalk and wrenched his neck?
Perhaps they were in a car accident, and her leg got crushed in the wreckage while he just got whiplash?
…or perhaps it really was a coincidence?

Perhaps your imagination is running wild? :D
Most likely it’s just a coincidence. If not, I vote for the car accident!

You need to stop watching CSI, reading books, or whatever it does that fuels your imagination.
(Alternatively, they could have been muggles who got in the way of Voldemort on a good day. So he only gave ‘em a bit of crucio and the leg locker curse.)
… And so do I.

I personally think it was from a sexual misadventure gone wrong.

Funny that’s what you’re brain concluded first! :-P Does it mean something? LOL!

I like scenario number one. Although scenario three seems most realistic!

Get your mind out of the gutter ;). I vote for the car accident option, although the first option gave a funny mental image…

Maybe they became friends because of their injuries. Oh that would be so romantic! And now they are going to start dating! And they’ll get married! And have kids! That’s just too cute.
Okay, I’m done being gushy.

I like imagine scenarios too – how people ended up exactly where they did. I vote for scenario number two!

Maybe they didn’t even know each other, and the man just happened to be walking past the woman as you looked…
Yes, I’ll go with that.

Lol, too much CSI as Amber mentioned, heh. I’m the same, I cant’ look down a side street without thinking I’m going to run into some investigation, lol.

I have on occasions gone: “Hey look, a hair on my blazer, it still has a skin tag on, I could murder someone and blame it on you!”. :P CSI is addictive.
I like the cute, being friends because of their injuries, idea. :D

I just love it when the opportunity comes to think wildly and absurdly. Although, my imagination at the moment is rather unstable. I can’t imagine why …
Maybe they got a little bit too frisky with each other? Or, you know, they had a pretty serious car crash and are trying to convince one another it wasn’t their fault?

Wow. Talk about an active imagination. ;) I think the car accident one is the most realistic…but all of them are pretty creative.

Maybe they were doing an experiment, like trying to see the world from another perspective. The perspective of people with things broken. I would have thought that the accidents were related in some way too, I guess we’re just very imaginative people :)
Otherwisely I like your page, I’m frequently visiting, I’m just horrible at leaving comments, I don’t do that often enough.
Have a nice day!
